One Thoughtful Gift

            I can’t stress enough how important giving meaningful gifts to your significant other is.  Every girl out there wants to know their man is thinking of them and really pays attention to them.   Flowers, Jewelry, and chocolates all have there place in a relationship but if you really want to make your girl feel special and show her you really care you need to be creative and give a meaningful gift.   The following three examples will show you the effects of thoughtful gifts.

            I had been going out with my current girlfriend for about three months and being that she is Irish and Saint Patrick’s day was coming up it seemed a small gift with a card would be appropriate.  I ended up getting a little snow globe with a little Irish fairy in it and a nice little card saying she is the treasure at the end of my rainbow.  When I showed up at her house and handed her the small gift she was caught completely off guard with the gift.   She was soo happy to get it and kept saying she never got a gift for Saint Patrick’s Day before.   The next day she said she was telling her friends at work about the gift and said they got all pissed off at their boyfriends for not getting them anything.  If you want to separate yourself from the average guy, you need to do things like this.

          Junior year of college I met a girl two weeks before we went on Christmas vacation.   We talked at a party for a bit than meet a few days later for lunch.  I found out Christmas is her favorite holiday and she is all about it.  I liked this girl and wanted to make sure she knew that but I only had 2 weeks left and with having to study for finals it would be heard to make this work.  I thought the best way would be to send a Christmas card to her apartment.  I just sent a simple card saying I hope she has a great Christmas vacation and that we can stay in touch.  What a surprise I got a call saying how my card made her day and that I can come over to her apartment anytime I need to relieve some stress from studying.  

            I just used this idea for some great success.  Most girls pay attention to all of the monthly anniversary’s up until the 6 month mark.  Some guys go way over board buying tons of flowers or chocolates when it’s only a 1 month anniversary.    The best thing you can  do is when you go to pick up your girl to go out and its anywhere between your 1^st and 5 months together mark, you simply place her favorite flower on her seat.  When she gets in the car she will be surprised you thought of her and remembered.
