How To Find Thoughtful Gifts

    A lot of  guys struggle to find the perfect gift for their girlfriend or wife because they don’t know the steps to take in finding that gift.  Everything is easier with a plan.  The following steps will make your task of finding that gift a lot easier.

1:  Start writing your ideas down.
    Writing things down help to organize your thoughts and get you thinking in the right direction.  For example if your searching for a Christmas gift for your girlfriend start writing down things she likes or needs.  Example:   She has been talking about getting a puppy.  Her favorite band is coming to town next month.  She complains about the high gas prices.  She loves  light houses.   Loves going on long runs.  Her printer is broken.

2:  All the highlighted words are possible gift ideas.  Now right those words down in a list.
    A)Puppy
    B)Favorite Band
    C)High gas prices
    D)Light Houses
    E)Long Runs
    D)Printer

3:  Cross off anything you don’t think you could find a good thoughtful gift for.  
    In this example we’ll leave Favorite Band, Light Houses, and High gas prices.  Now that you have narrowed things down you can start  coming up with gift ideas. Again write down your ideas for the ones you have left.
    A)Favorite Band
    Get her tickets to the concert, buy their cd or dvd
    
    B)Light Houses
    Get a book, poster, or map about Light House.  Plan a trip to visit one with her.

    C)High gas prices
    Buy her a gas card

4:  Now you have multiple gift ideas that all relate to things she likes or needs.  You can pick any one of the gift ideas or a combination of them to give.  This is the recipe for giving a gift that your significant other will truly appreciate and be able to use.  Depending on your budget and how serious the relationship is you could:

1)  Get her a beautiful poster of a Light House and give her a $20 gas card.

2)  Get concert tickets for you both to see her favorite band.

3)  Buy her favorite bands cds, pick up a book on Light Houses, and get her a gas card.
